Project Overview
Intel sought to develop a ready-to-use integration kit that would help IOT developers rapidly prototype with a variety of sensors. The goal was to simplify field testing and speed up time-to-market for new sensor-based solutions by offering an all-in-one hardware platform.
Implementation Strategy
The Michmas Electronics team provided a full turnkey solution, starting from PCB layout design and continuing through manufacturing, component sourcing, assembly, and software programming. Each unit was packaged as a complete, ready-to-use set, supporting multiple sensor inputs and rapid deployment for testing environments. Full functional testing and packaging were also part of the workflow to ensure quality and reliability.
Outcome
Tens of thousands of Mosaic sets were successfully delivered to Intel. The kits became instrumental in speeding up development across various Intel IoT projects. Michmas’ end-to-end production capabilities allowed Intel to scale quickly without internal resource strain, reaffirming Michmas as a trusted partner in their supply chain for developer tools.
